Cold & Dry Weekend, Wet (& Possibly Wintry) Start to Workweek
Most of us will see mainly rain on Monday, but a wet wintry mix is possible in the morning.
We’ve made it to the weekend, but this time around, no wintry weather is in the forecast. That said, things might get dicey for your Monday morning commute. Expect sunshine and highs in the 30s and 40s to continue into our Sunday afternoon, but clouds will start to build in as we close out the weekend. A few spotty showers will sweep in from the south as temperatures fall into the lower 30s early Monday morning.
Most of us should see scattered rain showers for our Monday morning, but pockets of sleet and mixed precipitation could develop north of the border around sunrise. Accumulations look minimal at best, but slick roads could create hazardous conditions for your commute. Give yourself extra time as you head to work on Monday. The rain and sleet should largely move out by Monday afternoon. Sunshine returns as highs steadily warm up for the remainder of the week.
