Wilson’s World: Allegra Westbrook Regional Library Community Read and Black History Month Programs
CHARLOTTE, NC — Community Read & Black History Month at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library . The library’s Community Read program gets going in a few weeks with a focus on communication about gentrification and urban renewal. It’s a month-long effort to have the community read (or listen) to books about current topics and take part in discussions and events with the Library. Everyone in the Charlotte community can participate! Just read a book, share perspectives, attend a program or engage on social media. The goal is to build a stronger community together.
