GASTON CO., N.C. — Gaston County Attorneys will take on the Gastonia City Police Department in a charity basketball game for the Boys and Girls Club on April 2nd.
Tickets are $10 per person (children under 12-years-old are free) to watch attorneys and members of the police department go head-to-head in the charity game starting at 1 p.m. at Stuart Cramer High School in Belmont.
All proceeds from the event will be divided equally among the Police Officers Fund and the Boys and Girls Club of Gaston County.
Organizer Cameron “Chip” Harrison says there will also be t-shirts on sale for $20 and hopes the money raised can be used to make a difference in the community.
Harrison says “It is our hope that we can find a healthy and fun way to give back to the community and these amazing organizations. We are also trying to show Police and Attorneys as a positive influence in our community and to show that we make a difference in ways beyond what people normally think.”
