Matthews Police Ask For Public’s Help Locating Robbery Suspect

MATTHEWS, N.C. — Matthews Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a robbery suspect who injured two.

On February the 18th, just before 4 p.m., police were called to a robbery at the Ulta on Matthews Township Parkway.

Employees approached a man at the exit who wanted to leave without paying. The man then sprayed them with some kind of chemical from an aerosol container. Both employees received care.

Police describe him as a black male, wearing a black skully cap, a royal blue gator mask, a light-colored sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

The suspect left the scene in the below white Nissan Maxima, driven by a woman.
