A mild overnight with patchy fog Tuesday morning

TONIGHT: Low to mid 50s.
After slight breaks in the clouds and a wind shift we saw a beautiful Presidents Day! Overnight lows will be mild, only bottoming out in the low to mid 50s under cloudy skies. Isolated showers are possible this evening.

TUESDAY: Low 70s. Breezy.
A few showers are possible in the morning, especially in the mountains. Look out for patchy dense fog during your morning drive. Cloudy skies in control on Tuesday with highs in the low 70s.. Rain coverage increases to scattered late Tuesday night into the first half of the day Wednesday.

WEDNESDAY: Low to Mid 70s. Breezy.
This day will be the wettest of the week with scattered to numerous showers and high temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

THURSDAY: Near 70.
Thursday will feature mostly cloudy skies, AM showers and highs near 70s.

FRIDAY: Low to mid 70s. PM decreasing clouds.
A cold front that will bring us a cooler weekend arrives on Friday. Most of the rain looks to break up before getting to the area, so for now expected isolated to widely scattered showers. Clouds will decrease through the day and temperatures cool in wake of this front.

RAIN: While there is a chance of rain in the forecast each day, it will not amount to much in the Piedmont. The greatest totals stay to our west. .25” – .50” possible through the week across the Piedmont with .50”-1.50” north of I-40.
