Temperature Roller Coaster To Close Out The Week

Weather Headlines:
– Cooler Thursday with a warmer close to the week

– Unsettled pattern continues

TONIGHT: Low: Mid 50s
Clearing continues through the afternoon. Clouds will increase through the evening with overnight lows in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY: Cold-air damming. High: 58
With a stalled front to our south and an area of high pressure to our north, it will be cool and mostly cloudy thanks to cold-air damming. Scattered showers through the day.

FRIDAY: High: Mid 70s.
A cold front that will bring us a cooler weekend arrives late Friday. Skies will be partly sunny with highs in the mid 70s. It will also be a breezy day with winds shifting from the SW to the NW at 5-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

WEEKEND:
Saturday will be cooler and feature mostly cloudy skies. Highs will only top out in the mid 50s on Saturday. There is a chance for scattered showers on Sunday with an area of low pressure moving in from the Gulf – this could bring snow to the mountains, but nothing impressive. Highs on Sunday will top out in the upper 50s.

Temperatures warm through the week next week.
