Actor Sean Penn Praised For His “Courage” As He Films Documentary In Ukraine

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – While many are trying to flee Ukraine as Russia wages war, actor Sean Penn is placing himself in the thick of it, working on a documentary, alongside the journalists who are also there, delivering truthful information to the world.

Thursday, Penn was spotted at a press conference after the first full day of the invasion. He has also had meetings with Ukrainian President Zelensky. The Office of the President says Penn came to Kyiv to tell the world the truth about what’s happening. Back in November, the actor spent time in Ukraine, meeting with troops as tensions began rising with Russia.
