CDC Masking Guidance For Local Counties

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is out with new COVID-19 guidance. It says healthy people in most areas of the country can safely stop wearing masks.

The agency says people living in counties at the low level transmission do not need to wear a mask indoors.

People living in medium level counties are advised to talk to their doctor about masking indoors.

People living in counties at the high level are advised to continue masking.
