Over $27,000 was raised for the family of fallen CMPD Officer Mia Goodwin at the inaugural Craft Brewers For a Cause event held on Saturday, February 26th in South End.
Several local breweries and businesses teamed up to host the beer festival fundraiser at Suffolk Punch – Norfolk Hall.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Over 20 local breweries will team up on Saturday to raise money for fallen CMPD Officer Mia Goodwin’s family.
Officials say the “Craft Brewers For A Cause” festival held at Suffolk Punch in South End on February 26th will be split into two tasting sessions, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets are $50 per person (plus fees and tax) per session, with all proceeds benefitting the Goodwin family through Salute to Heroes Charlotte.
