Has Kanye West Gone Too Far With Latest Attack On Pete Davidson?
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Kanye West is facing major backlash after sharing scenes from his new music video, where Pete Davidson is buried alive. Davidson is dating Kanye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. The video, Easy, was first released on Kanye’s Instagram on Wednesday, just hours after Kim dropped “West” from her name, and a judge named her legally single.
The partially animated video features Kanye kidnapping Davidson, burying him, and then planting roses on his head. In addition to talking about his divorce from Kim, Kanye raps, “God saved me from that crash, just so I could beat Pete Davidson’s a**. ” The music video ends with a message saying, “everyone lived happily ever after, except you know who.”
People are slamming the video, calling it abusive and threatening. But there are a few still in Kanye’s corner, drawing similarities to Pete’s 2018 SNL monologue on Kanye. Pete dragged Kanye for his support of Trump, and also said Kanye should take his medication.
Our question of the night: has Kanye West finally gone too far?
