CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department will be hosting a recruitment open house on International Women’s Day.
The open house will be Tuesday, March 8 from 4-7 p.m. at the CMPD Police Athletic League Recreational Center, located at 1330 Spring Street, in Charlotte.
The police department is committed to its 30×30 Initiative, to increase the representation of women in police recruit classes to 30 percent by 2030, according to a news release.
