Edge On The Clock: Peloton To Test New Bike Rental Program

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Peloton is testing out a new rental program. Customers can rent the bike and get access to the streaming service for between $60-$100 a month. Right now, the program is only available in Texas, Florida, Minnesota, and Colorado

Peloton’s new CEO is hoping the move could turn the company around. There are also talks of making a simpler bike, and cutting back on the number of warehouses.

Plus, IHOP launches a loyalty program. You can find the loyalty program on the restaurant’s app. Instead of coins, you earn “pancoins,” which you can trade in for pancakes.

And, if gas prices stay as high as they are now, families could shell out about $1,300 more a year. Moody’s Analytics broke down the math based on Monday’s national average, which was just over $4.
