Rain and Storms Return Wednesday

Another sunny and pleasant follow-up to yesterday’s gorgeous day. Highs will reach the upper 60s. Temps will fall into the low 60s Wednesday as a cold front moves through the region bringing steady rain and a few rumbles to the area. The severe threat remains relatively low, but a strong storm or two could produce small hail east of I-77 toward the coast. An upper-level low will swing away from the region early Thursday, bringing warmer temps and peeks of sun for St. Patrick’s Day. Another cold front late Friday will bring more rain to the region through Saturday morning. Temps will remain slightly above average with sunny skies returning late Saturday through early next week.
