Edge On The Clock: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky May Make Appearance During Oscars

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky may make an appearance during this year’s Oscars. Actress and comedian Amy Schumer, who is hosting the Academy Awards, says she’s trying to find a way to have Zelensky join the ceremony virtually. Schumer appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, right here on WCCB Charlotte, and said she pitched the idea to have Zelensky appear via satellite or have him record a message. So far, there’s no word if he’ll actually do it.

Plus, Dolly Parton knows who she wants to play her in a biopic. The country music star says she always wanted to make a Broadway musical about her life, but is now considering a feature film. Parton says she would like to see Kristin Chenowith portray her, calling her, “absolutely fantastic.”

And, Kylie Jenner’s newborn baby is getting a new name. The 24-year-old said on Instagram that her son, born last month, will no longer be called “Wolf.”
