Police Seek Tips After 10-Year-Old Girl Left With Life-Threatening Injuries In North Charlotte Shooting
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for a suspect accused of shooting and seriously injuring a 10-year-old girl at a north Charlotte car wash Saturday afternoon.
Around 2:45 p.m. on March 26th, officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service at the Sunset Auto Spa located on Sunset Road.
At the scene, officers found a juvenile victim, later identified as 10-year-old Cherish, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Cherish was taken to the hospital shortly after with life-threatening injuries, where she currently remains, according to a news release.
