Gastonia Police In Search Of Suspect Involved In Double Shooting; Cash Reward Offered

GASTONIA, N.C. – The Gastonia Police Department is in search of a suspect connected to a double shooting involving two teens on Saturday, March 5th.

Officers say they are investigating a double shooting that occurred at the intersection of East Garrison Boulevard and South Chestnut Street.

At approximately 1 p.m. Fire and Rescue officials arrived to find two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Gastonia Police Department detectives released surveillance photographs of the vehicle the suspect was traveling in. They say the unknown suspect was in a burgundy four-door Chevrolet at the time of the shooting.

The Gastonia Police Department is asking anyone with information to call crime stoppers at 704-861-8000. A cash reward will be offered for information that leads to arrest.
