WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is back at the White House to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act health law he enacted.
The law is now part of the fabric of the American health care system and President Joe Biden hopes to extend its reach to more Americans.
Obama says the ACA was the βhigh pointβ of his time as president.
He said the law did what it was supposed to do, providing health insurance coverage to 30 million people.
Sign-ups have increased under Bidenβs stewardship, and more generous taxpayer subsidies have cut costs for enrollees.
