Round 2 Of Possible Isolated Severe Storms
A cold front will move across the region early Thursday morning. Isolated severe storms are possible ahead of the cold front late Wednesday evening, overnight and into early Thursday morning. Damaging wind, isolated tornadoes, hail and isolated flooding will all be possible. Storm Prediction Center has put most of the WCCB Charlotte area under a Slight Risk which is a level 2 out of 5 Wednesday PM – Thursday AM. Unseasonably cool temperatures build in in wake of the cold front.
Wednesday: Dry through the day and warm. High temperatures top out in the low 80s. Isolated strong storms are possible late in the evening, overnight into early Thursday morning.
Thursday: Isolated early AM strong storms possible. Patchy AM fog. Gradual clearing with high temperatures in the low 70s.
Friday: Breezy and sunny. High temperatures in the low 60s.
Saturday: Much cooler as we struggle to reach 60 degrees. Sunny skies!
Sunday: A beautiful day with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
