CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — A 19-year-old has been arrested after a Catawba County traffic stop led to the seizure of opioids, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by Zachery Dickerson Tuesday.

Dickerson was arrested and charged with trafficking in opioids by possession and transportation, deputies say.
“Our partnerships with these local agencies and the SBI were very beneficial to the outcome of this investigation,” Sheriff Donald Brown said. “Together we are continuing to make an impact on drug trafficking in Catawba County.”
