Police: 31-Year-Old Man Shot Multiple Times In Lancaster

LANCASTER, S.C. — A Lancaster shooting has left a 31-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds Wednesday night, police say.

Authorities were dispatched to North Gregory Street around 8:30 p.m. after reports of shots fired.

The victim was taken to MUSC Health-Lancaster by a civilian and was later transferred to another nearby medical facility for treatment. Police say the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body.

The unidentified victim’s condition is unknown at this time.

According to police, a suspect has been identified, but has not been arrested at this time.

This incident is under investigation by the Lancaster Police Department, with assistance from members of the Multijurisdictional Violent Crime Task Force.
