Maiden Man Arrested For Trafficking Heroin Near School

MAIDEN, N.C. — A 28-year-old Maiden man was arrested Friday for trafficking heroin near a school, according to police.

The Maiden Police Department conducted a search warrant on Bradley Caldwell’s North Main Avenue residence. During the search, authorities located seventy pills that tested positive for fentanyl, marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Police say Caldwell is facing felony charges of trafficking opium/heroin and possession with intent to sell/deliver an opiate within 1,000 feet of a school.

Caldwell was taken before a Catawba County Magistrate where he received a $10,000 unsecured bond.

The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office assisted Maiden Police in the investigation.
