View The Visible Man Exhibit At The Harvey B Gantt Center

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Curator Dr. Michael D Harris launched an exhibit at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts in January.

His piece ‘Visible Man: Art and Black Male Subjectivity gives a creative view of the complexity of African America males through cultural, radicalized, and personal perspectives. This exhibit puts emphasis on the creative expression regarding the view representation of black men.

Harris uses Visible Man to highlight the complexities of men in the African diaspora.

The exhibition houses work from a wide arrange of Black artists from all over the world, including both males and females of all ages.
