CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Comedian Gilbert Gottfried died after battling a long illness, according to a post on his Twitter account. Gottfried was 67-years-old.
Gottfried announced on TikTok that he was diagnosed with cancer in 2020.
Known for having one of the most iconic voices in comedy, Gottfried was also a husband, brother, friend and father to his two young children.
