Discussion:
It’s a warmer start this morning with temps in the 50s and even low 60s across the region. Ongoing showers will reach the mountains over the next few hours. Likely won’t see much rain further outside of the foothills today, but showers will be possible for the higher elevations through the afternoon. Temps will warm into the low 80s today and tomorrow. Thursday will bring the chance for strong to isolated severe storms during the afternoon. The storm prediction center has put much of the east coast under a marginal (level 1 out of 5) severe threat. Damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes will be possible with any storms ahead of the cold front. The front will clear the area by late Thursday into early Friday. Isolated showers possible through the weekend with highs reaching the upper 70s. Easter Sunday wil begin dry with highs reaching the lower 70s. Rain picks up late in the day through early Monday with a cooler outlook for the next week.
