Tracking Rain Easter Weekend

While our Easter Sunday will be spared, a messy pattern sets up shop through the holiday weekend into early next week.

Our Good Friday feels more like a great one as high pressure continues to bring cool, dry air into the Carolinas. The sunny 60s and 70s are setting up across the board this afternoon, pairing up nicely with low humidity. Don’t get *too* comfortable just yet, though. More rain chances lurk as we head into our Easter weekend.

A relatively weak storm system rolls into the Carolinas by midday Saturday, but still could bring a few heavy along with it. The severe threat will be minimal, but some storm gusts could reach speeds upwards of 20 mph. Fortunately, it looks like our Easter Sunday will be spared from wet weather. Widespread rain chances return on Monday as a moisture-laden system rises in from the southwest.
