Temperatures Warm Through The Week
Patchy frost possible Wednesday morning
A cool and dry high pressure builds in and dominates the first half of the week resulting in sunny skies, but below average temperatures. The area of high pressure will move offshore late Wednesday allowing temperatures to rise through the second half of the week.
Tonight: Decreasing clouds with overnight lows in the low 40s across the Piedmont. Upper 30s in the Foothills and near 30 in the Mountains.
Tuesday: Below average temperatures, but nice and sunny. High temperatures top out in the low 60s.
Wednesday: Patchy frost possible in the morning as overnight low temperatures bottom out in the upper 30s. Frost is more likely the farther north you are. A bit warmer with plenty of sunshine. High temperatures in the upper 60s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the low to mid 70s.
Friday: The warming trend continues with high temperatures near 80 degrees with plenty of sunshine.
