Woman Arrested, Charged For Stabbing Boyfriend In Statesville

STATESVILLE, N.C. — A 26-year-old has been charged for stabbing her boyfriend in Statesville Monday morning, police say.

Statesville police officers responded to a Longdale Drive location around 9:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a domestic assault in progress. Upon arrival, it was discovered by police that Malcolm Harris, the boyfriend, was stabbed by Holly Myers after he removed one of their children from the girlfriend’s vehicle.

Myers stabbed Harris in the left leg near the buttocks. He was treated by Iredell County EMS at the scene and refused any further assistance.

Police say Myers was arrested and charged for the incident.

During the investigation, the grandmother of the children arrived at the scene and took custody of the children.
