Coroner Says Man Dies After Getting Pinned Underneath Work Vehicle At York County Construction Site

CLOVER, S.C. — A man died on Wednesday in York County after he was pinned underneath his work vehicle at a construction site, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.

The Coroner’s Office responded to N. Highway 321 and Old Carriage Road in Clover on April 20th to investigate the work related death at a construction site.

Official say 56-year-old Marvin Eugene Long had been pinned underneath his work vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Autopsy and toxicology results are pending at this time.

The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
