Warming Into The 80s For Earth Day

Our next weather system brings a chance of showers early next week

Discussion:
An area of high pressure has moved offshore allowing temperatures to quickly rise to close out the week. The next cold front will likely arrive late Monday into Tuesday bringing a scattered rain chance back to the region.

Forecast:
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies. Lows in the low 50s. Winds out of the southwest at 5-10 mph.

Friday: The warming trend continues with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s with plenty of sunshine.

Weekend: A nice, warm and dry weekend with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s.

Monday: The warmest day out of the next 7 and likely the warmest day so far this year with a forecast high of 86°.

Notes:
– Earth Day is this Friday April 22. The 2022 Earth Theme is Invest In Our Planet.
– Four of our solar system’s planets will align in the eastern sky all week long. Look for Jupiter, Venus, Mars and Saturn just before sunrise.
