CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after finding two people fatally shot in northwest Charlotte Friday evening.
Around 7:15 p.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service on Montana Drive.
At the scene, officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say the victims, identified as 23-year-old Shariff Oliphant and 21-year-old Trey McClendon, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
