NC Attorney General Stein Tests Positive For COVID-19

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein says he’s staying at home for awhile after testing positive for COVID-19.

Stein says he tested positive on Monday and was asymptomatic.

In a tweet, the second-term attorney general says he was fully vaccinated, with two boosters, and will be “lying low” and “working from home for a few days.”

Unfortunately, I tested positive for Covid-19 this afternoon. I’m grateful to be fully vaccinated and twice boosted, and fortunately, I’m asymptomatic. I’ll be lying low & working from home for a few days per the CDC recommendations. I encourage everyone to get vaccinated!
