South Charlotte School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

CHARLOTTE — Police are investigating a threat made to Pinewood Elementary on Senaca Place in South Charlotte Friday afternoon.

As a precaution, students and staff were evacuated to Office Depot at 5107 South Boulevard. Parents and caregivers will need to pick up their children from this location. Bus riders will be dismissed from that location as well.

Police caution that there will be heavy traffic in this area and for drivers to avoid the area.
