CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Avery County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay Friday, January 27 due to the threat of wintry weather.
The district says it will monitor conditions overnight and update any changes around 7:00am Friday if needed.
Ashe County Schools announced it will be operating on a 2-hour delay Friday.
Watauga County Schools will also be on a 2-hour delay due to icy roads in the district.
