Are Sleepovers For Your Kids Safe In 2023?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Safety at sleepovers. One woman says she doesn’t let her daughters spend the night at friends’ houses, no matter what. Freelance writer Kristina Hernandez wrote a recent article where says there are too many risks these days when kids go to another family’s house. She says she feels it is her duty to keep her 12 and 8-year-old daughters safe, and says if she ever the opportunity to shelter them in this way, she is going to take it.

She brings up issues of mature movies, smart phones, and even crimes against children. The comments on the article vary, but most commenters are parents who say they worry regardless of whether their children have sleepovers.

Our question of the night: Do you let your children attend sleepovers?
