Proposal To Change John Lewis Way To Donald Trump Boulevard

NASHVILLE, TN– Republican lawmakers in Tennessee are proposing a controversial bill. The bill seeks to rename John  Lewis Way after former president Donald Trump. Democratic leaders plan to fight the bill so it doesn’t happen. John Lewis was a U.S. Congressman from Georgia and a civil rights icon. Fifth Avenue was named for Lewis in 2021, after his death in 2020.
