Charlotte Fire Responds to Storage Facility Fire in Northeast Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —  Firefighters responded to a  large structure fire in Northeast Charlotte Thursday morning. 

 According to  Charlotte Fire,  crews put  out flames at a storage building on the 1100 block  of University City Boulevard.

 Crews said they saw heavy smoke and flames when they arrived. 

 The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
