Woman Poisons Friend’s Cheesecake In Attempt To Steal Her Identity

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Truth is stranger than fiction and we’re about to prove it again. Many close girlfriends tend to look alike. But when a woman in New York wanted for a crime in her native Russia, realized she looked so much like her friend, she decided to steal her identity so she wouldn’t get deported. Here’s the even crazier part: she laced a piece of cheesecake with a rare drug and served it to her friend. Luckily the woman survived and now her girl is going away for 21 years.
