Vale, N.C. — A 7-year-old girl was shot in Vale Monday evening, that’s according to the Catawba County Sherriff’s Office.
According to investigators, the child was shot in the face and that the shooting appears to be accidental.
This happened around 5PM on Reepsville Road.
Investigators say the girl’s family is cooperating.
No arrests have been made.
