CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Prepare for major traffic issues continuing into your Thursday afternoon commute after a tractor-trailer carrying a mobile home crashed on I-485 North near Moores Chapel Road.
The crash caused the tractor trailer driver to cross over the cable wires that divide the interstate into the inner loop lanes of I-485.
Drivers should expect major delays in the area. As of 2pm, two lanes of I-485 inner loop remained closed.
MEDIC says four people were injured in the accident but all are expected to recover.
