Fort Bragg Is Re-Named Fort Liberty To Shed Confederate Connection

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fort Bragg in North Carolina has officially been renamed Fort Liberty, to shed its confederate origins. The base is the first of nine the congressional commission proposed to change. The other bases will be named for new people. Is renaming these bases erasing history, or is it a sign of progress?
