CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are on the scene of a SWAT situation in west Charlotte.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, on Tuesday around 12 p.m., SWAT team members responded to a barricaded person inside a home in the 3000 block of Columbus Circle.
Residents are asked to avoid the area as the investigation is ongoing.
