Manhunt For Atlanta Murder Suspect

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A manhunt is underway for a murder suspect in Atlanta.

Officers with the Dekalb County Police Department say Demetrius Nicholas shot at police just before he fled into the woods after he was spotted in the Stone Mountain area, about three and a half hours southeast of Charlotte.

Nicholas is wanted for murder and should be considered armed and dangerous.
