Chester County Man Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison For Selling Fentanyl Pills

CHESTER, S.C. – A 30-year-old Chester County man faces 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to selling fentanyl pills, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. 

Dasean Ratez Moses pleaded guilty to three counts of Distribution of Fentanyl, one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl and one count of Possession of a Firearm by Person Convicted of a Violent Felony.

Narcotics investigators started looking into Moses in August of 2022. The investigation and additional undercover work discovered audio and video recordings of Moses selling fentanyl pills on multiple occasions to a confidential informant.

Moses’ case was set to start trial on Tuesday, October 31st. However, he decided to accept the plea deal before a jury was selected.

Moses will serve his sentence at the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
