Charlotte Chick-Fil-A Restaurants “Gather To Give” Back To An Important Cause

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The holidays are approaching and Chick-fil-A is working hard to ensure that all families in the county enjoy warm holiday meals.

According to Mecknc.gov, 15 percent of households are considered food insecure. This means they have a reduced quality and variety of diets, may eat less, and eating patterns are disrupted due to a lack of money and resources.

With the holidays fast approaching, Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Charlotte area are banding together to fight food insecurity and help our neighbors in need.

Here are a few details about the β€œGather to Give” Initiative:Β
From Nov. 6 to Nov. 18, 2023, Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Charlotte area will join hands to make an impact through a meaningful fundraiser centering on the sale of Chick-fil-A Nugget Trays.
All tray sales will go directly to support the Second Harvest Foodbank of Metrolina, and Charlotte-area Chick-fil-A restaurants are committed to donating up to $100,000 to help families in need during the holiday season.
“We are excited to launch the ‘Gather to Give’ fundraiser and make a real and tangible impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity in the Charlotte area,” said Rob Rogers, local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A University Place and Chick-fil-A Spectrum Center. β€œIt’s an opportunity for all of us to come together to enjoy delicious food, but most importantly help those who need it the most.”
Second Harvest Foodbank of MetrolinaΒ is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in the greater Charlotte region.
They distribute over 70 million pounds of food and household items annually to partner agencies that serve people in need.
