Suspect Charged After Two Women Die From Overdoses
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Statesville Police Department arrested a suspect in relation to an overdose incident, resulting in two deaths, according to a news release.
Police responded to a residence on South Meeting Street in Iredell County on November 1st at approximately 11:18 a.m. Two women – Brittany Peace, 33, and Heather Wilson, 35 – were found unconscious and pronounced dead on the scene by medical personnel.
An investigation ensued, which found that one of the females allegedly purchased narcotics earlier in the day from 28-year-old Kaylan Obrien Brandon.
Brandon was taken into custody shortly after and charged with two counts of felony death by distribution. He was held on a $1,000,000 bond.
This is an ongoing investigation.
