Clocks Fall Back, Temps Spring Forward
Confidence is slowly increasing that we'll see *some* much-needed rain by next weekend, but it's nowhere near a guarantee.
Sunshine and highs well into the 60s and 70s are sending off November’s first weekend, and it only gets warmer from here. Winds out of the southwest will aid highs on their quest toward record territory near 80Β° by midweek. A few clouds may pop up throughout the afternoons ahead, but rain chances remain minimal through the next four days. Moderate and severe drought conditions will likely worsen with the next monitor that comes out on Thursday.
The good news is that confidence is slowly increasing that we’ll see some much-needed rain by next weekend. The bad news is that it’s nowhere near a guarantee that we’ll see any, and it likely won’t be much if we do. That said, a rainmaking system will likely approach the Southeast overnight Thursday into Friday; cooler air and isolated rain chances are in the forecast for the coming weekend.
