CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A two-alarm fire broke out in south Charlotte, resulting in two firefighters sustaining minor injuries, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived at an apartment off Hedley Way near Quail Hollow that reportedly filled up with smoke and fire around 2 p.m. It was updated to a two-alarm fire minutes later.
Around 60 firefighters on scene were able to control the fire in one hour.
Officials reported that no civilians were injured.
