Police: Mooresville Man Stabbed In Domestic Dispute

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – A woman has been arrested in collection with an alleged domestic violence stabbing, according to the Mooresville Police Department.

On Monday, November 6th, officers responded to a call on Hillside Drive around 9:15 p.m. Upon arrival, officers witnessed a victim suffering from stab wounds to the chest and arm. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries and is expected to survive, according to a news release.

Preliminary investigations revealed the victim was stabbed during a domestic incident involving the mother of his child who lives at the residence on Hillside Drive, police say.

Quinitta Davis, 42, was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Davis was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under no bond pending her first appearance in court.
