Miles Bridges Makes Season Debut With Charlotte Hornets

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Miles Bridges received a warm welcome back from fans at Spectrum Center when the Charlotte Hornets forward made his season debut Friday night.

Bridges played in his first game since his involvement in a domestic violence case from the summer of 2022. He was sentenced to three years of probation for a felony domestic violence charge.

Bridges played 33 minutes off the bench and scored 17 points, the second most on the team. He also notched five rebounds, four assists and two steals in the Hornets’ 130-99 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 25-year-old missed all of last season with the Hornets and was suspended for the first 10 games of the 2023-24 season.

Bridges has a court date next year for allegedly violating a protection order last month that stems from the same domestic violence case.
