3-Year Cruise Cancelled, Travelers To Not See Refund For Months

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Life at Sea Cruises announced it had to cancel its three-year inaugural cruise after being unable to acquire a ship for the voyage. Travelers aren’t expected to see a refund for months.

The cruise was originally supposed to depart on November 1st from Istanbul. However, it was postponed twice and later relocated to Amsterdam.

Passengers are out hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The cruise’s cancellation leaves some with nowhere to go because they sold their homes or rented them out to make the cruise a reality.

Life at Sea Cruises are working to refund passengers, but that will take a few months.
